This week I delivered the last of three gardening sessions at Bandstand Beds on Clapham Common. The session was on Soil and Compost, a topic I am particularly passionate about. With this post I’d like to share some tips and tricks for your own compost experiments at home. 

The second of the three workshops at Bandstand Beds was on the topic of growing winter veg. Sarah Wilson, one of the participants, wrote a blog post together with David Dandridge.

The team at the community garden Bandstand Beds on Clapham Common have used some of their funding to organise a series of three winter workshops on their site. Michel Thill from Social Landscapes was invited to deliver the sessions. In the first workshop the group has explored strategies for natural pest control.
