Andrea Ferdinand
Dre is a social worker, yoga teacher, and community based practitioner.
She was a participant on the 2016 Permaculture Design Course organised by Social Landscapes. Her approach focuses on decolonising environmental spaces, reconnecting with indigenous knowledge and working with deep intention.
Dre’s expertise is in integrating permaculture design as social permaculture, facilitating community ecologies by reconnecting communities to growing as self sufficiency and trauma healing workshops that centres black and brown people.
Rachel is an environmental project manager with experience working in local government and NGOs. After participating in the PDC in 2017 she spent a year putting it into practice in Spain, helping to set up an ecosystem restoration project exploring how regenerative agriculture can benefit deforested, dryland areas.

Tish came across the word Permaculture shortly after finishing her degree in Interior Architecture & Design, however it wasn't until 10 years later that she started to investigate permaculture design in more depth.
